Body Image Challenge

After a week of mental drainage in the utmost way, I couldn't help, but to think about my passion as it relates to helping people.  I had a discussion with two young ladies regarding having a positive image after receiving many reports that they were struggling in this area.  One of the young ladies was truly digging the convo and the other was giving me much attitude as if she knew it all.  In honor of the work I do, I challenge you to complete this reflection about your body image.  Feel free to post your results.

Family creativity...

Here is picture of a Father's Day card that was created by my boys four years ago.  The oldest came up with the ideas and the youngest put it into action.  We were going about our busy lives and did not realize it was Father's Day.  We had no time to go out and purchase a card or gift so the boys asked for some glue and construction paper and wa-la:

While I was at it, I decided throw in a picture of a sash I made for my mom during a pageant where she selected to be represent the state of Minnesota.  I was so nervous and anxious that I was sweating bullets.  For those of you who know me well, know that I am no where near the creative person I desire to be.

Random thoughts AGAIN

I guess I will eventually get the hang of trying to venture into the blogging world, but until then I will try to post a few random thoughts just to get the hang of things.  I am contemplating the format of t. drenice's blog world.  I am trying to figure out if I really want to post pictures of me in such and open forum such as this.  I tend to be a very private person so I am struggling.  I'd like to do postings on my interests and my description indicates, but again, I need to organize my thoughts.

This week I have set a goal of collecting and posting a few boutiques of that I would like to purchase items from.  Sit tight and watch me learn how to do this!!!

I can't wait to sport these...

I received these shoes at the end of last summer from my BFF of 30+ years.  I absolutely adore the wedge heel and polka dots.

I plan to wear them with as many outfits as I can.  To begin with, I will wear them with one of my long, black maxi dresses; an off-white maxi dress; and any other summer gear that I can muster up from my collection of summer gear.
