I am really
feeling it this year. Yep, that's right, this is the first time in my career where I've ended the school year at such peace. Because of this, I decided to
treat myself with a very, special gift to serve as a
companion over the next
several years. I usually end the school year going out
celebrating with colleagues at a local restaurant/bar, but NOT this year. Instead spent
my money on something that I hope will aide in my journey to use my creativity to make some
extra cash.
With this in mind, I
declare that this will be my summer of
prosperity. I have quite a few important tasks to embark upon. They are
listed below, but
not limited to:
- my very first series of yard sales where I will sell my clothes, children's clothes and several toys;
- eating healthy and exercise daily;
- cleaning, painting, and de-cluttering my front porch;
- cleaning my mudroom;
- finishing up my doctorate degree assignments;
- learning the art of blogging;
- learning a little something about photography with my new FujiFilm FinePix s2940 w/ 18x zoom camera;
- collaborating with someone to host a fashion event of some sort;
- purchase a dress form;
- learn to sew and take a few sewing classes;
- sporting events with my kids, theirs and local teams; AND lastly, stay up late....sleep in later! :)
WHEW! I wonder if I will ever get all of this done in 9 weeks!?!?!?! I noticed I didn't list "getting rest and relaxation". I guess I could not have from the exhaustion of tasks listed above. Wish me luck!
